For all you "local" drifters - here's the line for Marten's... at least the way I run it at low flow's and mid summer..... hope you like the music... David Jenson picked it out... ha.

Thank Robb Grubb for the great overview shot of Marten's and thanks to West Coast Action Photo's!!

Nice presentation, Greg. And I ike the upfront photography work though it appears the nuckles on the crossbrace were a little whiter than normal. Har. Har.

My passenger was from Scranton.  He wore the "Hat Cam" but his knuckles gave him up... I had to sand out the fingernail impressions in the crossbrace.   ha ha

That dude didn't move his hands at all!  The only thing I am missing is the sound of the river and the sound a boat makes when it drops off those standing waves.

I'm envious you have such fun water.

I didn't realize how nervous he was until I looked at the footage.  Here's the video I put together for him and you can hear the nervous chatter in the boat before we hit the rapid.  He boated two steelhead by 9 a.m. and then we went up river to run some white water... you'd love it !!

Awesome.  Nice fish, and yeah, you need to figure out how to add the music in with the river sounds, that would be awesome.
Greg, what I want to know is this:  How many steelhead have you and your companions taken from that single run with the bridge in view downstream?
"I take the 5th"... on the grounds it might incriminate me...
Don't blame you.  I read Ralph Wahl's One Man's Steelhead ShangriLa a few years ago.  Looks to me as if Mr. Wahl's had nothing on yours.
Music to my ears.  Thanks, buddy!

Absolutely - thanks for the recommendation!!!

Greg: Love the video. Can you tell us who performed the music?  Do you know if they have a CD out?  Thanks for sharing.

Larry,

I grabbed this off of Itunes and paid $.99 for the track.  The track comes off an album by Craig Duncan - Memories of The Old West and is a Tribute to Roy Rodgers.  It's the best version of I Ride an Old Paint that I could find on the web.... the album has some great tunes on it.
