Hi Everyone,
Happy Fall from Colorado!! It is beautiful here and the Aspen leaves are in full glory! I am going to be near the Colorado River (Pumphouse, State Bridge) area this Saturday October 1 and am trying to see if anyone out there might be also heading to the water with an extra spot on their drift boat. I am actually looking for some rowing and general boat safety lessons as I don't have a lot of rowing experience and am too afraid at this point to take out my newly built boat without some more instruction and I really don't feel like paying a guide 350 bucks to let me row his boat so that he can fish.
This is kind of like building your boat in your basement except that I can at least get mine out on the water if necessary. I could bring my boat out but thought that it might be easier if someone had an extra spot on their boat. I am a pretty good fisherman, don't typically stink and will provide the beer if that helps.
I look forward to hearing from anyone. You can reach me via email at troy@kellerlowry.com or on my cell phone at (303) 332-9109. Thanks. My family has a small ranch in the Kremmling area which is where I will be staying for the weekend.

Troy,
Congrats! you have chosen the first step in keeping your boat in one piece. All those hours and late nights and money building your dream boat! As far as boating instruction goes, you will get what you pay for. If you hire a fishing guide to sit up front and fish, that is what will happen, if you hire a teacher to sit up front and teach... well then...
If you are ever in Oregon and interested in professional, in-depth rowing lessons, give us a buzz.
Cheers, Robb Grubb
