Hi All,

I am new to the group

I am starting work on a Kingfisher drift boat. I have all suppies in hand other than finding a source for 6", 12 oz biaxial tape. Anyone know of a vendor? I tried Jamestown and Chesapeake Light Craft, but no luck.

Has anyone had luck in building a drift boat fan deck transom that Jason puts on his recurves. Absolutely beautiful. I assume it is 3 layer of 3mm layed up on a form, then scarfed to the boat. Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated. I have built a number of cedarstrip and one stitch and glue pulling boat, but this is my first drift boat.

I ordered all of my epoxy and fibgerglass from Raka (raka.com) when I built up my boat. Looks like they have 6" 12oz biaxial tape. Good people to deal with, reasonable shipping rates and good prices.

Good luck on the build!

Try Noahs.  Just finished a Kingfisher and really like it.
