Hello all. I'm new to this site and the world of wooden boats. I picked up a beat up old boat last spring and have slowly been working on the exterior: removed the umhw bottom, removed chine log and bash gaurd, sanded it (exterior) completely, and did some filling with 3M marine filler.

A buddy graciously has accepted it in his heated garage and we are now really getting into the interior. We are finding the inner chine to be pretty bad in a few spots.

Our plan is to add glass with graphite to the bottom and up the sides to above the water line and epoxy above the water line before painting.

I'm in South Central Alaska and this boat has been passed around and not really cared for. I'm changing that.

I'm going to attempt to add some pictures. My questions are if anyone recognizes the design or builder. There is no plaque or markings on the boat so it is a real tossup as to what it is.

Secondly, what would you do to the interior of this boat? Because the inner chine is in rough shape, we are thinking of adding epoxy and light glass to encapsulate it.
