Thanks to all you folks who showed up to make this show the success that it was. We had 23 boats on display and a boat parade of about 12 boats in spite of darkening skies. Special thanks to Ray Heater and Sandy Pittendrigh for providing inspiration to me and my gang and sponsorship to the show every year. We look forward to doing it again next year. Also a big thanks to Randy Dersham for this forum that has helped us all in expanding our circle of like minded wooden boat lovers. It was nice to put faces on several people who I've gotten to know through this forum.

Now this is where I should be posting images of the event but sadly I was so involved that I didn't take one photo. Sandy was working his camera hard and will post some images here soon. Dan Burr has already posted a few. If any one else would like to contribute a few images please do so.

Jim Taft from Sun Valley was hard at work with his camera at the show and sent a great bunch of photos. Check them out at his Picaso site.

Jim comes over every year with a boat that would make Greg Hatten cry. Jim's boat is the dark blue one. I try to put mud on it when he's not looking. Thanks Jim.
Jim,
Great pictures. I've signed up to this site as I soon want to build a drift boat of my own. I understand the blue hulled boat is yours. It's an incredible piece of work. Could you share the details with a neophyte such as myself? Length, width, etc. and what plans did you use? That craft suits my taste to a tee. It's beautiful. Thanks in advance.

Aj,

Thanks for putting this together. It was alot of fun. Already looking forward to next year.

What a great looking show A.J. I know that everyone appreciates all of your hard work.
I wanted to be there in the worst way. Next year this is a top priority for Sanderson and me. I'll try to round up more of the Oregon crowd to make a caravan trip.
Here're a few. Jim Taft has a bunch more, also on picasa
We all had a blast. I really enjoyed meeting Kirby again,
and finally seeing the Roadkill Boatshop
