Chris:  Jason Cajune at Montana Boatbuilders sell kits.  They are all outstanding -only S&G the last time I checked.  He might give you some info on frame kits  he is familiar with.

Randy Dersham of McKenzie/Tatman boats recently related that they are on hiatus as he is working in San Francisco and his son Sandy is undertaking a new endeavor in the health care field. I know no details beyond that but I am certain that he will soon check in.

Rays River Dories makes a lot of kits.

Yes, Sandy and I have stopped doing kits at this time.  I believe that Jason at Montana Boatbuilders is also building boats one at a time and is out of the kit business.

Ray's River Dories is now the place to get your kits.  Cyrus and Ray do a fantastic job.  You can find them at http://www.raysriverdories.com/

Thanks for the reply. I think that this website and what you all have done to promote wooden drift boats (and the legacy) is great. I realize that life takes different turns - but was intrigued by the new technology  that was being brought in. Although,  I am not currently in the market for a kit, I am restoring my 30 year plus homemade boat as we speak. I am interested in the future of these kits, since I have a couple of sons that I would like to provide them with an opportunity to build - the kits have always seemed the best option.

I hope that you guys someday re-appear on the market. I think you had a good product from what I have read and studied.

Hopefully, the Wooden Drift Boat kits continue in the future - Ray's Drift Boat kits are definitely a great option for us but also would like to see some options for all in the future. Good luck - and thanks again for the Festival and keeping the history of wood floating.
