That is quite impressive... I would like to build one of those then row it on one of the big lakes here...
Reminds me the Winslow Homer painting.

By the way Jason... love this painting!!! Nice work. Now THAT's a boat!! (and a fisherman)

Hey Jeff, I was at the Mystic Show on Sunday!! Janet & I were celebrating an anniversary in Boston and "amazingly", it was the same weekend as the Boat Show right down the coast in Mystic Conn. We spent most of the day there - very very cool boats and people. I reconnected with a couple of folks I met at the Port Townsend Boat Festival last Sept... Awesome. I've got a number of new ideas for "boats to build".
Obsession I, II, III, IV etc....

GH
Now THAT is a wooden boat! ha
it's a disease, this wooden boat thing....
If Obsession I took 800 hours, how long would the above vessel take you? You better fly home today and get started right now!
Depends how much help I get... would this project fit in your garage??
GH
Sure, but first we need to build my DB. When will you be here? Bring epoxy, fiberglass and varnish!

You can volunteer your time to do work on the ship.
