Hey Gang,

I am going to be building a boat for Bass Pro shops new Vancouver B.C. store and they want it painted red :( outside. So I am looking for some pictures of red boats that have been painted with one of the good marine paints that I could send them as the color charts out there are pretty poor. If any one has a pic. that they would let me use please post it here and identify what paint and color it was.

Thanx a bunch.

I would have to say that after having observed many of the boats that Mike has built they chose him because he does such a good job. His boats are beautiful and each succeeding boat is an improvement on the previous one. He keeps improving on the design of the boat, the material choices, the finishes and the quality of the work on them. A few years ago when we were looking over one of his boats on the lawn at Randy Dersham's place before the annual McKenzie River Wooden Boat Festival I asked how many boats he had built. At that time it was 17! Hey Mike how many is it now? His work is top notch and he is humble enough to help out the folks here. I applaud him for his work and his contributions to everyone here!

It was not any one thing you did,you mean.more like the many thing you did.I thought you were a novice like me.How much time will it take you to complete?

I have to have it in B.C. the third week in May. I already have some parts from a canceled order (sides, transom and front seat) so I am ahead of the game (I think) plus it is a display only boat so no 5200! This will be boat #31 but some of those were kits, I still have to number the kits per USCG.
