Rowers Seat

Good morning all. I have found that over the years the pictures posted on the site are very inspirational and informative (a picture worth a thousand words) and I feel I'm not alone. Here are a couple of pictures of my rowers seat and the way I installed the rope seat. I hope it will help anyone with a question about stretching the rope so that it is tight.

Eric, outstanding work, not only your shop-built fixtures but your tightening method too. I really like your inset panel idea. Your pictures are very informative and the quality of your work appears to be exceptional.  Show us more! It's great to see what others are doing.

nice work.  im getting ready to build a seat.  yours came out great, may copy the idea.  i dont think theres anything a ratchet strap cant do...
