Somebody sent me this long ago. So long ago I lost the original author's name. But I do use this stuff. I just made a new batch a few days ago, in order to oil-up the plywood lockers I made for my 14' aluminum V-bottom lake boat.

1 quart terpintine
1 quart boiled linseed oil
1 pint pine tar (might have to heat in double boiler to get it easier to mix)
1/2 pint Japan Drier

Lay it on well with a brush, let it set for an hour or so- preferably out in the hot sun- and then wipe off the excess with a rag. Lay the rag out to dry- don't throw it in a garbage can or pile in the garage as this stuff can spontaneously combust.
