Rick,

A friend who also looked at the picture and informed me there are a pair of Amish men who carry their boat on top of their carriage and thinks this may be them.  They fish the same lake as he does and they have a outboard motor too.  Go figure??

I have seen Amish at a popular Steelhead site on the Manistee River where I fish frequently.  They have the same rods and equipment as most of us Englanders.

I decided to drill 1 1/8" dia holes into the frame of the trailer to route the wires in the frame.  I drilled the first hole tonight.  It's a bit of work, but what the heck.  I found electrical panel plugs to seal off the holes after the wiring is complete.

Thanks for the info on the tubing.  I'll check it out.  Maybe I can route it in the frame to protect the wires from sharp edges inside the frame?

Do they only fish with Tenkara gear? Silk lines and hand forged hooks and feather and fur from their farms?

PS I found a nice black vinyl tubing 1/2" diameter that you could run your wires through. It's cheap and in the plumbing section of Home Depot in the "tubing" section.
