Here are a few pic's of the progress after a long hiatus,,,,,started back in with the floor first. Looked like a fun job. Cut a couple more pieces of flooring than were in the kit and decided to make it removable. Simple barrel/bolt to keep it in place. Little concerned about the about of pressure it takes to compress front section to conform to rib rocker. Think I'll add a short section of aluminum angle underneath the holes I drilled for the bolt in the spruce cross member ends just to have piece of mind??? Probly would be fine. Also thought about using aluminum arrow shaft to reinforce the bolt hole.

Note angles on cross members, cut so member will be flush with face of rib.

Then I roped the seat. Was playing around with the spot auto focus,, end result,,,,out of focus. Oh well...

Next, mounting rowing seat and the passenger seat. Trying to clamp the pipes to the front seat and have the pipe equidistance at opposite end was tough. Wanted the seat to slide effortlessly. Finally my brain kicked in and the result was a spreader bar, bored two holes the say distance as the holes in the back support playwood while it was clamped tight to the hull and rib. Worked great.

I know square cut transoms seem more traditional, but.....I like these lines.

Working on fly line deck, sanded the two sloted side pieces to thin trying to get them to bend to shape of bow. Made two new ones. Actually thinking of steaming these and then clamping till dry. That's all for now.

Tried to respond to your post, but it disappeared? My fault. Thanks for the comments, checked out your site. Beatiful boats.... how do you do them so reasonably priced?

Yes I have a lot of time in it. Can't wait to float in the thing.
