Cleaning grit off oiled surfaces
1 Reply

I’ve got some trips logged on my side trays and between using them as steps in and out of the boat and the dog tracking in sand I’ve got some grit to clean up. I usually just hit the trays with a…Continue

Spray bottle oiling technique

Bennett,

Sorry this took a while. If you are marking centerline its best to use a string line. I don't snap it I carefully mark under the line then connect the marks with a strait edge. If I am feeling really lazy I borrow the 12' strait edge from my friends upholstery shop and put it on that way. Marking a strait centerline on all four sides of the blank is critical. Have fun and I can't wait to see the finished product!
