"I use a 3.5 HP long shaft Tohatsu on my drift boat - it fits on a wooden bracket that I needed to use to get the the cooling water intake low enough. 1/4 throttle gets the boat up to hull speed. "

David, nice of you to reach out to me.This is my 1st build (from scratch) and am hoping to get it done in time for summer here in colorado.I have the bottom and sides on and will be glassing this weekend.In the meantime I added a used oil burner to my shop stove to get some steady free heat.Pictures to follow when I get time to load them as I don't spend alot of time writing e mails.I look foward to hearing from you-Dreu
