I've been whittling on these for several months and am reaching final stages: craft oars, oarblocks, stands, square and affix interior appointments. One is heading for Australia and the other is a replacement to my personal collection. Both models are from the Pritchett plans, and being a devout though disappointed Beaver fan (as Pritchett was), I have employed the Orange and Black on both.

Roger,

As always you have captured the magic in miniature.

I will be bringing a scale model of a cottonwood tree to the boat show in case you ever decide to build a scale model of your wonderful old 1967 Jon Ostrem 16x48.

Ha.Ha. Can't wait to see that model, and hear the story again. And again.

Roger,

There a bit small don't you think???

As usual your models look better then most of the real things.

+1!!!

Awesome roger.  See you soon!

AJ... Roger told me the cottonwood tree story and shared a pic...But we both know you'll make her right.

Dave,
Check out Wooden Boat River Tours on face book to see her back in action.

Roger, I was reading Driftboats, by Dan Alsop this weekend & that looks like the same boat that is in his book.   Also I would like to thank you for your book & all the information it provides for building & rebuilding our boats.

Dan

It's not the "same" boat, but it is "the" boat. The boat pictured in his book was the second Pritchett boat I modeled. And thanks for your comment about my book.
