Mark, If you need to warm up, there are some great options.  One, go to Bellnap Resort and you can soak in their hot springs pool that overlooks the river.  It is a couple of bucks.  Another is to go up (East) on the McKenzie Hwy. and when you see a road on your left that says Deer Creek, take the left.  Go a block or so and cross the bridge over the McKenzie and park.  Then take the McKenzie River Scenic Trial from the left side of the bridge, and walk downstream.  About 50-100 yards down the trial you will see a natural free hot spring right at the river's edge.  The third is Terwilliger, run by the USFS.  Stop in the USFS office in McKenzie Bridge to get a map.  The only problem with beautiful Terwilliger is a bunch of car clouts, but during daylight it should be OK.

Thanks! Had a fantastic day out with the IRH, floated from Frisseell to Fin Rock. The upper was fun the lower is blown out due to this lovely liquid sunshine. Floating again in the morrow if anyone is interested.

Do it again Sunday if you can.  Fly fishing from Frissel to Blue River is fantastic.  All native redsides, no planters.  Fishing opens Saturday.

Hi Mark . . .

Sure wish I could have made it down for the festival.  I'd love to row that IRH of yours one day.  (I'm the guy wanting to build the small one-man whitewater fishing boat).

Enjoy.  Hope the weather clears . . . and post some photos.

Tom
