Other Wooden Boats

Is the McKenzie River Wooden Boat Show exclusive to drift boats?  Could wooden kayaks or single rowing shells participate?

Absolutely! We had a beautiful wooden kayak before, built by a McKenzie resident. I know the crowd would would marvel at a wooden single skull. I owned a Vancouver 21 for years to row on Leaburg Lake on the McKenzie. Even a fiberglass boat like that is a thing of beauty. If you want tips on the McKenzie area, contact me. jensens@rgisp.com.
