back to work on the bridges, will post pics soon .not sure about glassing the bottom inside yet, found that 5200 does not stick well to epoxy resin so i'm not glassing the bottom side of the chine log or the bottom of the boat.is this a bad idea or will the 5200 seal the chine and the area that is in contact with the chine?then seal bottom inside after the fact along with all exposed wood on the inside.

The 5200 will seal just fine on the epoxy. No need to epoxy the bottom of the chine though the 5200 will seal the bare wood. 5200 is MUCH easier to clean up from a sealed surface then one that is bare wood. If I am doing a finish other than oil on the inside I always finish the bottom before install.
thank you for the feedback.got the bottom cut out but forgot to build and install the stem cap.have a few pics of the build
Wow clamps so new they still have the tags! Your shop makes me thirsty;)
can never have too many clamps
getting back to the boat building process.chine logs and bottom cut.did use 5200 to seal bottom and about 200 screws.did have two split on #4 frame but drilled 1/8 inch off and all is well now
