Bought a kit boat from Tatman. Live on a good size trout stream (West Canada Creek) in upstate NY. Temperatures have just gotten warm enough to use epoxies. Need to get a digital camera so I can post some pics. Did build a good work bench and miter saw station while waiting for the temps to rise. Been meaning to do that for 4 years. Used some old roof rafter I saved from from our barn rebuild project. Will have lots of questions?????????

Welcome! You're off on a grand adventure. I wish that Wooden Boat People would have been available when we built my boat. The people are great and they are extremely knowledgeable (and maybe a little opinionated, too!), too. Moreover, they're willing to share that knowledge. Look forward to seeing your construction pictures.
Patrick,

Welcome to the site. It is a hoot to read everyones opinions. There are a lot of knowledgable people here. I have been in the business for a while, yet I learn all the time from the peoples discussions here. Enjoy and have a great time building your boat.

It's funny - I turned the crate my boat came in into a work bench on saw horses... waste not want not eh? ha
Thanks for all the reply's. Temps were in the 40's today, to cold for laminating joints. Had to do the Mothers Day thing also. I have to many interest, have some wildlife food plots that need attention also. I think I need to take some vacation time and get caught up.
