I designed my seat too high in relation to the oar locks.   I'll either make new, higher oarlocks or re-design my seat to be lower... next year.   In the mean time, does any one know if there is an easy way to raise my oar locks?  I have Sawyer Cobra's with 5/8" shafts.    I thought I remembered seeing something that looked like a simple shaft extender, but can't seem to find anything now.

Thanks!

That's actually a really clever fix.  I never thought of using wire to retain the shaft.  Thanks, man!

Larry-

This fix may be just what I am looking for for my boat.  Do you have any additional photographs from the outboard side of the boat or any more info that might make my creating a set of these a bit easier? Thanks-

MC

It's the same on the outside.  Nothing more then a block of wood to get the height needed sandwiched between aluminum plates.  Bolts through the gunwale and the riser block.
