That's a sweet looking boat.  Did you build that?  I've sailed in a daysailer a only few times on the Tennessee River near Muscle Shoals, AL, and that was a lot of fun.  Now I live in Idaho and I don't think Idaho is a particularly good place for sailing.

Pierre, nice looking craft. Sam Devlin does have some nice designs. You've done a good job of building yours. I hope to make the Port Townsend show this year.

Guy, you need to visit North Idaho.  Priest Lake, Lake Coeur d'Alene and Lake Pend Orielle are all nice for sailing. Especially in the spring and fall. Big lakes, long reaches, big winds at times. With the weather we have had lately you could easily test your sailing skills.

You are right Rick.  Idaho is really three states: southeastern (where I live), southwestern, and northern.  Idaho is a very different place up north.

Idaho has some very distinct zones that's for sure, sort of like Washington with desert's, rain forest's, alpine, etc. It is amazing to me to meet people unlike yourself that have no concept of the wide geographic diversity of the United States. Alaska is one of my favorite states, again it has some very diverse climatic, geologic and geographical zones.

By the way I really enjoy your presentations and the quality of your work. I have been doing numerous mitered corners on a piece that isn't square. Really stretches my brain!

Lovely lines all through that boat yard in the last picture.  You boat is very nice.
