Has anyone used the Sawyer Squaretop Dynelite Oars and if so, how did you like them.

I have used a pair of them and loved them. I couldn't afford them so bought and rebuilt a used pair of Sawywers for $50. You can see how I did the rebuild on my page.

Rick

I rowed my friend's boat that he had equipped with Sawyer squaretops with the laminated wood shoal cut blades.  I loved the oars and wish I could afford them.

Thanks Rick and Jonathan, sounds good! I wanted the 9 ft Sawyer Smoker Dynelites with the Ash shafts and wide, (7in.) blades, but can't find a pair to buy. I have used these and really like them. Given all the troubles Sawyer is having now, they don't even have a pair to sell me. One of the Sawyer dealers near buy does have a pair of the Square Tops in stock. Just don't have any experience with them so that's why I'm asking for input. Thanks Again!!

Hi Vince,

I've a pair of custom built laminated oars for sale.  Wide blades, triple laminated shafts, UV resistant epoxy coated.  9'6" but could be easily shortened to 9'.  The NRS counterweights can be adjusted to make them weightless in the oarlocks or removed. $500.  Phone Three 07 Four one 3 five869
