James,
Just post some pics on your progress on making the oars. Recently I posted some specs for Mike Rossi on them. Can't remember the post but it was recent. My 16 dbl ended with transom is 16 ft and my oars are 103 5/8 long.
Looking forward to follow your progress,
Phil W

James,

I'll send out the plans tomorrow via USPS.  The length is your call.  My ash oars are 8 1/2 ft long, overall length.  The Doug Fir were 8 ft.  They were for a friends rowing skiff.     Let me know if you need help, just post and I'll answer there or Mike will.

Phil
