Last night the last two boats left the boathouse for a test float on the lake. The shop is empty! They were joined by a brand new AlumiWeld from Rogue River Boat Shop. All three will launch Sunday from Lee's Ferry for a commercial trip, along with my '72 Briggs and an Andy Hutchinson dory.

Robb--
Dan made those from sheet brass, copying the original Briggs stands which were made of steel. We later replaced the old steel plates with aluminum, but Dan's bras ones outclass the aluminum by light years.

P.S. That crazy looking wood on the Lodore brightwork is sycamore. We'll see how it holds up to the weather and the world.
