got most of the hull assembled yesterday all the frames screwed in and stern/stem post in

  oiled everything inside and gave the out side another coat. she is ready to float. 

only thing left is to put in fly deck but it has me kinda stumped so any help on best way to get the shape and such would be great.

Dustin,have you made the part that goes between the two front frame members yet? That part with the knee locks defines the rear or longest side of the triangle that the fly deck forms.

A piece of cardboard can be used to form a rough pattern and then you can refine it from there. There are three 'cleats' that form the connections to the hull sides and the back of the knee brace. They will have a rabbet cut into the side that the plywood will fit into. The top edge of the pieces are cut with a 45 degree bevel also. The side pieces are screwed in from the outside. When Jasyn Hayes taught me to install mine we actually used a bit of force to move the pieces into place then clamped them and drilled and screwed them.
