Wooden Boat Festival 2011 - Thanks

It was a great day to celebrate wooden boats on the McKenzie and once again, Randy and Debbie hosted a fantastic event.  Blue sky, lots of boats, big crowd, cold beer, and hot dogs... awesome.  Here's a preview of many pics and video's we'll be posting in the coming days. Thanks Randy & Debbie - you guys are incredible!!

thanks for making a new comer feel welcome. I really appreciated the kind comments on my first drifter and the good ideas for the next one. i came up with some clear panels so the next one should really look good......I hope.  I am just sorry I missed the float and had to leave early....stinkin work. can someone tell me if there is a schedule of upcoming events??  thanks again for the warm welcome and a great day... see ya on the water. Dan, upcoming events are posted here. Keep you eyes on this site. I will be posting pictures of your boat and many others. You have added some unique new build ideas that others will be excited to see. Keep us posted on your new build and share any pictures you have.

thanks rick. i'm not clear on how to find pic's on this sight but i will keep looking and try to send some of the new boat.  catching ant steelhead on the McKenzie yet?  danp

Daniel, two choices on pics, 1st is the photos tag and the second is to go to an individuals page and look at the pictures they have added. You should be able to locate individual members pages from the main page. All the photos that have so far been loaded are viewable on the main page in the "photobox", just click through to see all of them. I have not yet loaded all the pictures of your boat.

Great video & the festival looks like it was a good time as well.

 

Perhaps my buddy & I will have to change up our spring trip next year to coincide with the festival.

I wish I could have made it down to the show.  Recently had neck fusion surgery, and it was just too long of a drive this year.  Have not even put my Rapid Robert in the water, She just sits in the shop waiting for me to get better.

I just wanted to jump in and say thanx to the Dersham's for having us and putting on a great event. I had a great time talking to many people and saw some great boats. The float was a lot of fun too.
