Introduction; Galloway plans

Greetings all,

 

I am new to Wooden Boat people......although not sure why I didn't find this great resource sooner.

 

I am looking to build a Galloway-style boat this winter.  Does anyone have any suggestions on acquiring build plans?

 

If this has been posted previously, I'd be more than happy to track down the post via link.

Check out Brad Dimock's posting and his website(s). He has the most experience that I have ever read about regarding the historical boats of the Grand Canyon's early pioneers. He recently built an exact replica of the Edith and rowed it down the Grand Canyon. Google will be your friend in the inquiry.

Well, now that you think about it a few have. Sometimes though my wife has different ideas!
