Silverado Steelhead

Hope you like the video... it was probably the last of the summer steelhead for 2012.

To paraphrase Crocodile Dundee, "That's not a net."  "THAT'S a net!!"

As always, great video.

Get shots buddy;

I had 2 great days on the Umpqua with Stan couple weeks ago; many fish, all released.  One native Steelhead approx. 15 - 18 lbs!!

We will fish this winter!

Cheers Darrell

Got to go; FISH ON

Greg, Old Pal,

Two things.  First, when you used to post your great videos to Wooden Boat People, they could be viewed by me selecting something simple, like "view."  Now, my choices are Facebook or Twitter, neither of which I want to be involved with at my age.  I imagine getting messages that Kim Kardashian just farted going into Saks 5th Avenue.  When you post to the Caddis Fly, I can still access your great video and music easily, without Facebook or Twitter.  Help me out!  Next, don't give up on this year's steel;  they are still in the McKenzie whacking flies and the hatchery fish are bright and tasty.

Tight Lines.

Greg, when I view your always excellent videos they come up on You Tube. I run Mozilla Firefox, I haven't tried it with any other browsers open.

yikes.....  sorry Brother.  The only link I am posting on Wooden Boat People is YouTube.  Try putting your curser right on my typed words Silverado Steelhead..... it should link you up to YouTube.  If not - I got problems.  Give it a shot and then give me a shout.  I do not want Kim Dardashian bugging you....

David this is my fault.

For a time I had a video section on this site.  Most people do not know or understand how to stay legal when using other people's music in these videos.  YouTube has some cross links to places you can buy the music and most of the videos are for personal use.  That combo keeps it all clean.

As a person that works in the online industry I have to be very sensitive to keeping this site free of any potential legal issues.  My worst nightmare would be for my company to be prosecuting someone for illegal use of our IP and have the defense attorney find illegal use happening on a site that I own and support.

Because I don't have the time to manage this I removed the video section and ask people to direct a link to YouTube.

Cool vid Greg! Thanks for sharing.

You bet!!  I still owe you a steelhead or two... maybe next year??

GH

Yes! I sure hope next year! I don't care if I get wet either ; )
