Hey guys,
Quick question in regards to using a taper jig for frames. Are you guys using a homemade jig or something manufactured? I am looking at a couple simple designs online. Let me know what you think.

Thanks!

Jason, two people for sure have recently showed info on taper jigs, Phil Dorfman and Guy Fredrickson. two Black Labs and others are mentioned when I did a search on the page for "taper jigs".

PS Congratulations Dad! Does Christine really let you out to the shop to play now, what no diaper and bottle duty?

Thanks Rick I will do a search for their jig setups.

Yes, this baby is our first, so I am in high demand right now!
And I am not allowed in the shop right now, that's why I am spending lots of time online inside (daydreaming of boat builds to come)
Norm Abrams (This Old House/New Yankee Workshop) made a taper-jig for table legs. You may be able to use it. It's on YouTube.
Found lots of info, thanks guys!

Jason, i have a pic of a taper jig i made on my recent blog post, if you would like more pics let me know
