Road Trip 2010

I am mentally planning a road trip with my new drifter. Yellowstone comes to mind, anyone have suggestions on where to go, good day or multiday drifts. I live in California and would drive up with the family to yellowstone and spend roughtly 14 days, drifting, camping, touring. .

from most of my fishing friends, a bit later is better, the streams are clear, the water down.

Then again, there is always the time just before flood season that is excellent for fishing. The bugaboo is actually timing the trip to correspond to the conditions that Mother Nature controls. So perhaps choosing dam contolled rivers can lead to consistent conditions. The Bighorn comes to mind. There are others that I'm sure will be suggested by the knowledgable folks here on WBP.
