Looking at Jason's recurve boats ( http://www.cajuneboats.com/ )... just curious, does anyone know how he did the bow and transom curves? Or at least take a guess?
We could tell you but then we would have to bend you over a round barrel and flog you with many small branches! Jason's signature construction does look remarkable, the veneers on the side boxes make some beautiful surfaces and allows him to make a potentially plain surface remarkable.
I believe his plans provide instructions on constructing the curved laminated transom. Most likely it is layers of 3mm marine plywood. There are pictures from plan builders at the Montana River Boats forum site. Ask the question there and the stitch and glue folks who built from Jason's plans might see the request for information.
