Boat Floor Stain

I purchased a Don Hill 13' drift boat a few months back and have been sanding the heck out of it and trying to bring it back to some semblance of its original beauty. Feel like I'm finally getting there, but I have a few questions on some particulars regarding staining the interior.

VARNISH

HI I JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST WOODEN DRIFT BOAT AND I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME THE BEST VARNISH TO USE ASKED THE PERSON I BOUGHT THE BOAT FROM( SECOND OWNER) HE DID NOT KNOW. OR IS THERE SOMETHING BETTER THAN VARNISH? HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP. NOT SURE IF IT IS A MCKENIZE BOAT OR NOT . THANK YOU
